Time for some new shoes

Well, like the title says, I am looking for some tires. The car will see drag racing as well as some autocross. I was thinking some Yokohama AVS intermediates or the Dunlop SP9000.

Tread wear is not a huge concern as I do not drive it very much. Also, where do you recommend I pick them up?

I have Pirelli p700Z or whatever the name of the $50 summer tire from them is. They are great and really cheap. I like them for summer duty, but they absolutely suck in the cold and snow. They are good in the rain though.
I would buy from tirerack, they got me my tires in 2 days and they are cheapest.

You cant beat the YOKO A520 for an all around kick ass tire. I used 17" version for a season of autox and dragracing. Drag racing, i could get 2.11-2.15 60fts all day with 15psi in them. Autocross was fairly good, but the 180 tread wear was a problem for me.

As for now, i chose to try the KUMHO SUPRA 712's. 280 treadwear, and 80 a tire for 17's. I feel these have a tad less DRY grip, but MORE than makes up for wet weather traction.

I think KUMHO 712's in 15" are like 50 a tire or soo......
